Coach Sam is a 2016 graduate of UVM and rowed all 4 years, graduating with an Engineering degree. He returned to the Lamoille River in the fall of 2019 to help coach the novice program, teaching them the basics of rowing and coxing.

Currently Coach Sam lives in Burlington, VT and works in Milton, VT as an Engineer.
